Cherry Corals Thumbs up for Brett and Todd

I got my package today with a frag of some super hot Aussie zoa/paly attached to a green monti with half blue polyps. The coral was as pictured and the zoas are better in person then the pic that was posted. Might be the brightest orange polyps I have ever seen. Communication, packaging was top notch. I would recommend doing business with Cherry Corals.

+1 on the recommendation to do business with these gents! 90% + of my coral is from them, will continue to be, and for great reasons! :tongue:

Sorry to highjack your thread but is there any update on your plasma LED setup? I know you are amongest the very few people who are testing these lights...

Hey Brett

What conditions did you have it in? I have a 250w MH Hamilton 14k SE w/ 24w AVI super actinic T-5s. Right now the polyps are open but the monti is still closed, I know it will have to settle a bit. It is on the bottom of the tank in a decent amount of flow in direct lighting. I don't want to burn up the polyps most importantly but want the monti to get best conditions as well....Let me know if you think that is fine where it is at.

Should be good, just keep it away from direct halide light and you should be fine with it. It was on the bottom of one of my tanks where the PAR is around 80 to 95.

For reference the light is a Sunlight supply Teklight 6 bulb fixture with 4 ATI blue plus, 1 ATI Aquablue Special 12K, and a KZ Fiji Purple.

No worries! The plasma setup was sent back to AI for some modifications (dimming controls). I'm pretty sure we are going to have it at MACNA as well... Look for updates with news from MACNA!
