Hey guys . I bought a used 120gal Marineland tank today and I chipped the corner while moving it . I personally think it will be fine with how thick the glass is but wanted some feedback from other people

I Agree. As long as there aren't any cracks radiating from the chip it should do alright. Can you get a shot from the other angle?

I have a 6ft 180g chipped almost in the same spot but mines higher.

It's been in-service since 2012/13... I cant remember.

It's only a superficial cosmetic blemish

I had forgotten about it until I just read this post

.

Oooooh idk. I wouldnt define that as a "chip" but more as a "chunk"

Does your phone take Macro closeup pics?

We really need to see that chunk upclose to see any MICRO-CRACKING.

Heres the concern... it might be fine for now but as those cracks progress... oh my.

Its exactly like a car windshield getting hit by a rock. Day#1 is a small chip/chunk..... Day#7 the crack spreads clear across the whole windshield.

Can you get a super closeup macro pic?

So I put some glass resin in there and then put epoxy over that . Doing a water test on it outside for a week to see if it breaks

Do u think after a week of it holds up it should be fine in long run ?
