Banged a door handle .
No leaks no cracks .
Just a scollop chip.
It's a Reefer 250.
Should they be worried

I generally don't trust chipping but this one looks like it will be fine

Live with it or if you can then make it done by some glass expert.
Trying to fix it with some DYI stuff will maybe make it worse

You are the only one who can see it! If you have a friend over to show them your gorgeous reef tank and they look past the majestic colonies and vibrant fish and point out the chip in the corner... I think that's justifiable homicide. You'd probably walk.

I have a 2 tanks (40b sumps) with little imperfections like this from recently moving. Luckily, like yours, out of site and not major damage. I went to a local auto parts store and got some glass chip repair epoxy. It fuses to the glass and “is supposed” to keep any hairline cracks from spreading.

That is one option you have, but it does not dry clear. Slightly opaque is the finished product.

Outside of that you should be fine with that tank and where it is located. Just be sure to keep an eye on it.

Thanks for all the input.
Laid a strip of car wrap its 99% covered.
You have to really look as the wrap is the exact the silicone.
