I got a tiny chocolate tang today, he is about an inch and I acclimated him and put him into my tank and I left him without the lights on for 2 hours and when I checked on him he has on the overflow box just lying there stuck to it but as soon as I touched him he swam down into the rocks... his fins are a little messed up, should I be worried??

Some pictures and/or video under white light would help others determine what the issues may be. Is he being bullied by others in the tank? An acclimation box may be a good idea if so.

#fishmedics can help. 🙂

Let me try to get some pics, my chromis was picking on hi. A little but not to much but I turned the lights off anyway and put a blanket over the tank so it was completely dark and the chromis went into his sleeping spot and I didn't see any aggressive after that

Unfortunately I couldn't get any pictures because he is now tucked into the rocks

Sounds like an acclimation issue, or a small, weak fish to begin with.

If it survives the night, you could put it in an acclimation box to protect it from the other fish.
