Choosing a wrasse

I have a 50 gallon that will be upgraded to 100+ in a year at most. I'm looking for a unique wrasse that is either reef safe or not I won't have any corals. Thanks!

Small Halichoeres wrasses will work for your current tank. H. timorensis is periodically available, though there are plenty of other more commonly available species. Xenojulis margaritacea is also sporadically available and is a unique choice.

What other options are there? Reef safe or not is pretty mutually exclusive! Lol

I still like yellow coris and melanarus or vroliks wrasses. They will both get a hair too big after a few years though.

I have a female leopard wrasse shes a great tankmate doesnt bother my coral or other fish and she eats like a pig.

I'm a big fan of the Melanarus as well.

Hate that fish. I had to rip my tank apart to just get him out.
