Hi,

As the title states, if you were to get something aquarium related for Christmas, what would it be. To make it reasonable, budget is $100.

This is to give me ideas.. ;)

Most reefers are particular about what goes in their tank whether its fish or equipment
I would find out who their favorite LFS or Online Vendor is and buy them a gift card :)

I agree with helen. Buying for someone else is never a good idea unless you know they aren't particular, or if you have a good relationship with a LFS and they know what your SO/friend has had their eye on. LFS can also be helpful if you have a strong relationship because they're usually familiar with the tank, what types of equipment and fish are in it, etc.

I ended up buying a ton of different zoas so he can add some diversity to his collection. His tank is mostly softies/LPS.

I think gift certificates are a good option!
