I've been a longtime member of this forum, ever since it was Club-Zoa, and I finally have a tank that I'm proud enough to post around here. I've long been amazed at the ability of reefers on this site...really pulls some of the best of the best.

Just a little background leading up to this tank. I started reefing almost 4 years ago and jumped in with a standard 55. It was a great tank to start off with, gave me plenty of space to work with and I learned a ton with this tank. Got one of my first corals, a frogspawn, from Rev himself. After making a few mistakes (namely a sand sifter goby) and getting hit pretty hard with one heck of a plague of vermitids, this tank eventually came down and I moved the clowns to a BioCube29. I started stock with the BC, but eventually turned it into a diy-modded piece of equipment as all good All In Ones need a little tweaking.

Things went great for around 19 months, and then a small little patch of Neomeris quickly became a FOREST and eventually covered every piece of rock. This is when I was either going to get out of the hobby or start fresh with another tank.

This leads me to my current tank, a standard 20H. It has now been up and running for a little over 7 months now and I think I've done a pretty good job of incorporating things I've learned over the years into this tank, resulting in a tank that I've been thoroughly enjoying.

The Specs -
- AGA 20H
- Aquatinics TX5
- MP20
- Remora HOB Skimmer
- EcoRox (decided I was done with live rock pests)

Inhabitants -
- True False Percs (had ever since I started reefing)
- Purple Firefish
- Tail Spot Blenny (just got 3 weeks ago)

Coral -
- RPEs and AOGs
- ORA Cali Tort
- ORA Pearlberry
- Blue Stag
- Setosa
- Bruddah's Superman
- Tyree Bonsai
- Tyree Tri-Color
- Green Slimer
- Green Suhar
- ORA Red Planet
- Green Acro Vermiculata
- Green Pocillipora
- True Oregon Tort

Let me dig up a nice progression of shots and I will post those shortly. Glad to be back around here and hopefully I can post back around here again.

-Adam

And here are some individual shots. I recently started adding MB7 to my tank and will eventually start dosing Vodka as well. I've noticed some pretty significant changes with just adding the MB7 over the last 6 days.

Nice pics and welcome back. The colors you are getting are pretty killer

Thanks for the welcome back...although I continued to lurk around here over the last year or so, I need to get my butt more active around here.

I've been really happy with the colors lately...things just seem to have settled in and really started to grow now.

Here are some other shots.

Nice setup. Are you dosing your tank manuallY?
Thanks. Currently I dose 10mL of 2-part every morning along with 2 drops of the MB7. Once my Alk/Ca increases to the point where I will be forced to dose 2x daily, I am planning on picking up 2 dosers from Bulk Reef Supply.

Nice corals, any full tank shots?

Thanks for the compliment. Oh yes, full tank shots, the bane of my existence :)

Here is a "decent" one that I got a couple of weeks ago. Some things have been moved around and removed after I fragged and sold some of them.

Adam,

Nice to see you posting up in R2R....as always you tank rocks!!!

Thanks Jason. Looking forward to getting you your frags in the next week or so.

The corals look great. What bulb combo are you running?

Thanks. For the bulb combo, I'm running the following -

2 x ATI Blue +
1 x ATI Blue Spezial
1 x Aquascience 22k
1 x Fiji Purple

I recently swapped out a UVL 75/25 for the Fiji Purple and I really like the difference. Makes things look a little more "natural" with all bulbs running.

Got some new goodies for the tank today. First Chalice ever :)

Pictures of the new goodies....

Favia - Should develop a little touch of pink

Top-down of New Chalice - Not sure what it is right now but I'm liking the yellow/orange center.

So far they are looking really happy with where they are. Just need to decide where to put them in the end.

Thanks for the compliment. I can easily see the appeal of getting into Chalice...such a variety of colors in a small package.

I'm getting a frag of Icefire and Pink Lemonade today from a member on here...can't wait!!!

Any suggestions on placement for either one of these? I have some spots picked out for them tentatively but wanted to see what others thought on placement.
