Appears I may be chatting with myself in here but thought I would post some new additions I picked up through a great trade.

Sorry that the quality isn't all that great and a little blue...working at home and for some reason my CS3 is acting up. Had to use Picasa instead.

Thanks for the compliment and the suggestion on the Icefire. I'm going to let it hang out in it's current height for a little while longer and see what the coloration does. I know that it is really happy with the flow it's getting but of course I'd love to get that rockin' bright blue color.

You got some beautiful new pieces. I'm really diggin the acans.
Thanks. I'm really happy with the new additions as well, especially the Acans. It's been years since I've had Acans and I think I'm going to be acquiring some more soon.

Looks like a great start, I'm diggin' the aquascape and coral choice....
It's coming along for sure. It's always tough trying to aquascape in these smaller tanks. The longer I reef, the more I go for the less is more approach. Less rock, more open space. The only problem is that with less rock, you have to be VERY selective in what corals you acquire. I'm slowly whittling down the ones that I'm not all that jazzed up about and getting the ones I've been looking for in there.

I lovin' those acans!
Me too :) I'm going to be feeding them like crazy hoping to get them to grow. Can't wait til they reach the mini colony size as I think that's the best size for Acans.

Thanks for the compliments...top down are definitely some of the best shots for reef tanks. Sometimes I'll just turn off all of my pumps and just stare down into the tank from above.

Whenever you want a frag of the Pocci just let me know. Until you mentioned it, I never noticed the slight blue hue to the polyps. Might have to take a closer look at it when I get home this afternoon :)

Any update?
Sweet looking tank for sure!

Thanks guys. I actually ended up taking this tank down after it had been up and running for close to 2 years. Most of the SPS were sold to fund the new 17g Green Leaf Rimless that I have going now. I'll have to start a thread for this guy....here it is under an LED prototype.
