Hard to get scale on camera but my gigas is the size of a football almost. I’ve also attached a pic of when I first got it compared to my 8-10 inch maxima.

I don't have any at the moment. They typically sell for about $1000-$2000.
I'd be curious to know the survival rate of these dudes. It's a deep water clam, right? Really not meant for our bright high flow water boxes. Cool nonetheless! Do they just come in randomly with a shipment or do you specifically ask for them?

I started with two that I bought back in May 29, 2024 from clam mania. I bought a blue crocea and a gold maxima. I sadly lost the gold maxima, but the blue crocea is still going strong. This is my second crocea that I’ve had. I seem to have better success with crocea.

Maximas are one of the more difficult species to keep.
