Ok I just bought my first clam it's a crocea I believe. Well my question is are they compatable. One of my shrimpies is on him and I hope he is just cleanin the shell. Should I be worried... Also is there a r2r app for the iPhone?

I had a peppermint shrimp kill all the oysters, clams and barnicles in my tank. It went rogue. Also ate an acan colony. So it seems some are some aren't.

I had a pepermint eat a new clam i put in my tank. I think if the clam is stressed the shrimp can sense or smell it and will attack. My other clam has never been touched by the peppermint. If its picking at it now the clam is probably dying. I would quarantine the clam and make sure its healthy before putting it back in your dt.

I will never have another Peppermint Shrimp in my tank as long as I have clams. I have personally watched them kill clams.
