Clean freak

My 72 gallon Red Sea Reefer has been up and running for a little over a year. I need hints on how to keep the back panel and the overflow clean. Coraline is fine on rocks but don't like the look of that or green algae on the glass panels. Anyone have a good way to eliminate these? Cleaner magnet doesn't seem to work.

Kent makes a long handled, and short handled, stainless blade scraper that works great on glass. The other thing I use is the little plastic razor blade scrapers that fit in your fingers found at Lowes and Home Depot by the check outs and in the paint department. I remove the razor blade and change it after each use so I don't worry about rust in the tank. The little razor blade type work very well and very quickly, the Kent version blade is a little more flexible so sometimes require a little more work or multiple passes if the corraline is very built up or hardened on.
