Hello!

In regards to the Clean Up Crew (Snails/Shrimp, ect), what is the best way to quarantine to prevent any possible disease from entering the DT?

With fish, I've been doing the TTM/PraziPro followed by 1 month observation, but my understanding is that because ICH does not host on inverts, TTM will not be effective. I know the risk of introducing disease via the CUC is low, but I am trying to maintain a disease free DT and do not want to risk a disease ridden DT over a $1/$2 invert.
Thanks everyone!

Thank you!

What would I feed the snails for the 76 day period while they are in a QT tank? Would just algae wafers be sufficient, or would they need something else?
And for shrimp, would they be able to thrive on pellet food or mysis shrimp?

Those foods should suffice -- they will need very little so be cautious not to overfeed.

I believe shrimp or other molting inverts can technically leave QT after they molt, and when in another clean tank for two days for any theronts in water that was transferred to die off, correct?

You putting anything in your invert QT, such as sand, rocks, etc...? Or keeping it bare-bottom? Thinking bare bottom would be pretty boring for the critters for 76 days! I'm in the prices of figuring an invert/coral QT out as well, lol. So definitely following the responses on your thread.
