Are you talking about the coraline algae or referring to normal film algae? I wish I could go a whole week without cleaning glass I need to do it every few days? Anyways healthy system

Coraline, it's a pain. A good pain to have, but still a pain. :)
Happy reefing

Get a tuxedo to munch on the coralline.

The film i clean my glass every couple of days.
Agree. Once you have enough coralline in your system an urchin will keep it under control.
I scrape coralline dots off my front glass weekly.

My 3 urchins keep my coraline well manicured. I don't get much on the viewing glass. I have to soft wipe my glass every 3 or 4 days and I scrape it once a week.
