Cleaning Filters

Hi all,

Newbie question. Apologies if asked before or wrong board.

Can you get anything chemical free for cleaning filters, filter socks, protein skimmers etc. just equipment in general. I thought fairy liquid etc, but don’t want to risk any chemicals. Thanks all

Diluted vinegar or citric acid are best choices. Vinegar has been known to swell magnets if not the 5% grade
