This is why I don’t have a ladder. Out of sight out of mind.

Or, if you want to take a second mortgage out, this may be an option. :D

I completely agree! We had the exact metal gutter guards as you do. They let a lot of leaves, acorns, etc, get through. Our house was 5,000 square feet and some of the gutters were at least 25 feet up. I never wanted to have to touch the gutters again. We rented a lift and replaced them with these:

Snap-In Filter Brown Gutter Guard

The sympathy from all of that hard work must equate to at least a couple of really nice corals!!!

...not to mention all of the money that you saved by doing it yourself now allows you to spend at least twice that on fish!

Thanks

Found all kinds of weird stuff. Was putting up some dry wall and found boards to the hardwood floor in the wall. Probably 30 boards just laying on the studs.

I understand and have seen similar issues. Hopefully your opportunities don’t include rigged up plumbing or electrical.

No the electrical and plumbing is safe just odd things that don’t make since. Like the mirrors above the bathtub.

A friend and me redid my mother in law's bathroom and we left a few beer bottles behind the wall. I was telling my friend we should try to find a plastic skeleton to put behind it as well so when the next people redo in 20 years or so they will have a nice pant peeing surprise

LoL

I found a beer can as well and a new hammer. Also a really big packers poster and some other football stuff. Oh and a luggage set from the 50’s or 60’s. No money yet though. ; )

So because the gutter guards were some what spring loaded they started pushing my end shingles up so I had to take them out ; (

We have one of the old styles roofs so I can’t lift the end shingles they are all glued down. Found some that could work though.

Now I have to reclean the gutters

One of the joys of living in a ranch in a newer subdivision means that I will be old and dead long before any trees are tall enough to cause me any troubles. Even if they did, I can get up on the roof with my stepladder for easy access.

Funny thing is mid range homes in our area seem to be going up in value. Homes are selling in less then a week after being listed.
