Cleanup Crew Hardiness Shipping

Well ordered a package from www.reefcleaners.org two weekends ago. They didn't send it out till the past monday due to the huricane down in FL. Well it was supposed to arrive today but I wasn't home due to work after school and so I got a nice slip saying that it was nice in cozy sitting in an office and that they are only open till 5 (That ticked me off, if you were gone when it was supposivly dropped off that probably means you were at work, who could pick it up by 5 then?!) and that if I leave a note then they'll drop it by in a couple days and leave it on the porch. Well tomorrow I can't go to the USPS office till after 5 anyways so my only option is to mark the card and leave it there. How long will snails/hermits last? I'm pretty ticked about the whole deal and hope reefcleaners has some kind of garuntee.

i think this would void any garuntee because you can't expect them to cover this kind of situation it's just unreasonable but inverts are sensitive so i'd be worried

i've seen a couple places that won't send a package needing a signature, just for that reason.

I'm hoping that they come by this afternoon when I'm home. I may leave the note thing they left for me to mark on and say leave it on the porch. Can't believe USPS is that stupid. If you're gone when the package was supposed to be there it probably was because of work. If you got work then you probably can't get to the USPS by 5pm. Seems pretty stupid to me.
