Hey everybody! It's my (Adam) birthday today but I'm at the shop working on lids...and wouldn't have it any other way! We have a lot of lids shipping this week and are excited for everyone to get them. We will have some production pics posted up with some teasers today.

Hey Everybody!! Quite a busy weekend has ended in a bang! Today (4/3) was my birthday and my business partners thought it genius to have a big Flash BDay Sale in our store with amazing discounts that drew a lot of late weekend traffic. It certainly made things interesting...a lot of bouncing back and forth from the shop out to the store front to help/get birthday wishes/eat bday bbq....then back into the shop working on the ClearView Lids production runs. I've loved every minute! Certainly made for a late night wrapping things up so my apologies for getting some teasers up so late.

The group shot below shows examples from one run of mainly Red Sea Reefer lids. You'll see lids in there for the RSR250, 350, 450, AND 525XL as well as a few custom lids. The other pictures give everyone a great view of the FEED DOOR that we have had to describe in words to oh so many ;). These pictures should make it super apparent =). Note the protective plastic and some machining bits/chips can still be seen in pics here. We'll get some example "ready to ship" pics with the lids fully decked out with mesh and unmasked asap. For now, I'm off for some needed rest...everybody else tuckered out and left the shop hours ago. HA!! And here they call ME the OLD guy?!

Now they look slick. I was on the fence before but now I think you got me. Are you only doing production runs on the weekend? Also I'm wondering about the clarity of the acrylic once the protective cover is removed. Great job!

Sorry for the delay everybody. We will admit, these have been a rocky road experience to mesh to our quality standards seen with the smaller/simpler Reef Crest ClearView Lids that started it all.

I'm happy to report for the whole crew however that we have been meshing lids like mad today after working out the finer elements. We think the results are amazing and you all will absolutely LOVE your new ClearView Lids!!

But...we will let you decide....

We think something as awesome as this is best revealed one layer at a time so here we go....

Wow these lids are ridiculously sleeeek. Are they heavy? Would they add some weight on a rimless tank? Or would i have the option to take a thinner cut of acrylic?

Yep, you will receive an email notification, with tracking, advising you once your lid(s) have shipped.

@ArtFully Acrylic does that one in the upper left hand corner happen to say Bagnardi on it?! :D

There is NO WAY you can read your name on that lid up there ;)....but....yes it does.

We wouldn't say they are heavy at all. They will weigh a bit more than an aluminum framed screen but not substantially. They are designed from the ground up for rimless tanks so should work great!! The lids are also available in "standard" configuration using 1/4" Lexan vs the 3/8" Lexan used in the shown premium upgraded lid pics. However, the standard configuration consumes less than 5% of our orders thus far =).

You can custom make to accommodate autofeeders as well right?

Cutouts for autofeeder's, lights, overflows, and other equipment are all included in the standard pricing!
