Ok so I have been on a fruitless search for dowflake found a thread stating one could use prestone driveway heat to which I do not have access to living in South Carolina. After completing a web search for calcium chloride I was directed to clorox pool and spa calcium hardness increaser which would be available at my local lowes. Not being completely comfortable with my knowledge of exactly what was in it I called the company to get access to the MSDS which would list all ingredients. To my delight it was 100% calcium chloride. So my question is would any issues arise from this brand or the type of calcium chloride it may be. ( this is for the two part recipe # 1 ) Thanks in advance for your input!!!
