I just picked this Convict up from the LFS today. I’ve been trying to get a healthy one for a while with no luck online. I think this one looks reasonably fat for a new import convict and it was tearing up nori at the store. It immediately went to eating in QT which is why the water looks so dirty. My only concern is the cloudy areas on the left pectoral fin. I did a FW dip before it went in QT and then dosed the tank with General Cure. The fin itself still looks totally intact so I wasn’t thinking a bacterial infection. Any thoughts?

Hard to tell from the picture. Is the white-ish area smooth and filmy or is it raised and cottony/cauliflower like?

Smooth. The fin is slightly thickened looking in the areas. It doesn’t really resemble lymph to me

I think you're going to have to give it another day or so to see how it develops.
