Hi Everyone

My 300L tank has been up for 6 months.
Im doing red sea reef care program but havent been adding the alk, mag, cal supplements because i only have 1 goniopora & 1 acan and they doint seem to be affecting the levels of alk, mag, cal in my tank. I assume my 10% weekly water change is doing enough to keep the levels up.

So I had got used to not using these supplements.
I added my first ever 3 sps small frags, and a frogspawn.
Then a week or so later measured levels and alk was way down.
So, looked on my alk red sea supplement bottle and because my alk was so low the chart said i needed to add 96ml.
So I poured it straight in then thought hang on that was probably too much to add at once...

That was 2 days ago, tank is cloudy.
Changed carbon yesterday - hasnt made much difference.

Levels from today:
salinity 34
nitrate 0
phosphate 0
ph 8
alk 8.4
mag 1340
cal 475

Questions
1. what should I do about the cloudyness?
2. The Alk target for my red sea reef care recipe is 11.5 - should i get it back up to 11.5 from 8,4 slowly with the supplement - or does this require a drastic big water change?

Thanks so much for your help!!! :)
