hello everyone, so a week ago i changed my water as a normal water change would go but it was before my 1 week vaction so i did a little bit more. i took out my normal amount and cleaned out my filter. i put new carbon in the filter as needed and what not. i also scraped a lot of dark green algae off the back of the glass that got everywhere and i cleaned as much as i could up and what i saw. i care alot for my fishtank and i am very worried that a week later when i came back the water is cloudy and corals don’t seem to be doing well. if anyone could help that would be amazing thank you.

Most likely going to be a Heterotrophic bacteria bloom from low or depleted Phosphate. How old is this system?

It might just be because you created a destabilizing event from the cleaning. Good rule of thumb is to avoid changing a bunch of things before you leave for vacation. :-)
