So yesterday I did a water change in my 20 gal tank. By evening I noticed the water had started to get cloudy. By morning, the four fish in the tank were dead and the water was very cloudy. I've no idea what happened. I checked all my levels, all fine. Temp is 79-80. I even took the rest of the saltwater back to the lfs I bought it from and had it tested. It tested fine. All the corals seem to be fine, same with the crabs and snails. The little feather dusters in live sand are still fine, but some worms from the live rock died. I've had the tank going for a few months now, and everything was fine before that. I've got a hang on heater, a small circ. pump, and a hang on back filter that right now just provides circulation. So my questions are, any thoughts as to what could have caused the cloudiness, and how do i get rid of it? I've already done another water change today which lowered the cloudiness, but still there. Should I put charcoal in the filter, would that help take it out?
