Hi Everybody!

I've started getting into selling some juvenile clowns. I found a breeder who has fish that aren't common to my area, so I thought I would bring in some variety.

However, now that the numbers are starting to dwindle, they are starting to fight (apparently the large amounts of clowns curbed their aggression). So, I've seen in stores these slick holders (for one or two fish in each compartment) which can be plumbed and have a nice flow through.

However, I can't find anything for sale. Do the stores have these custom built?

The closest I can find is a Betta fish Barracks, but most of their designs would be messy with salt water (due to splashing).

Thoughts?

There are a few manufacturers that do store type systems. Check Custom Aquariums or Advanced Acrylics. Those are 2 off the top of my head that I know do systems like this

Most of these are custom made, not off the shelf. I'm guessing all tank makers will make them for you. Mine was made by Elite Aquatics.

A cheaper option would be to use some tank dividers like these:

...and put them in a 10 or 20 gallon long tank, of whatever size tank you have.

Thanks for your responses everyone! It looks like I'll pick up some cheap dividers for now and work on a custom solution.

So, what are some good designs?

I had a betta barracks system made by advanced acrylics and I have it for sale at the moment.. Your rather far from me but atleast you can see what maybe you can do as far as fabrication goes.. This system isn't very cheap though. cost me a around $3,400 total for all 6 banks (30 fish per) for a total of 180 fish and estimated 300 gallons of water capacity. Here's some pics.
I never got around to setting up the second half of the system and the other 3 banks still havent even been unwrapped from the syranwrap , lol
It’s for sell now if your intrested shoot me a pm.

Great looking system!

The shipping alone would be way, way too much. Plus duty and taxes, ouch! Thanks though :)

New Clownfish Hotel. I had them in another system that had 24 divided spots but since they can all see each other i had to keep them 3-4 spaces apart and it was a wast of the system.
I'm going to be fixing the drains. That board and zip ties is only temporary.
