Clown fish abruptly sick?

Hello,
I have a clown that has been thriving in my tank for a week now. All the sudden it is breathing heavy, swimming on the sand bed, and not eating. The water parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 20ppm nitrate, salt at 1.026, tempature of 78, with a PH of 8.0. The only thing difference between last week and this week is we added 5 snails, a conch, and a cleaner shrimp last night. I don't believe it is any type of sickness since the other clown is acting normal. There has been no aggression twards this fish either.

I dont see anything particularly wrong with it aside from aggressive breathing maybe just a goofy way of establishing dominance? Interested to see if Im wrong about that.

Please post brighter pics or video. The swimming in first video appears to be associated with Brookynella and the pic of both show secondary bacterial lesions also associated but want to verify

This is a 36 gallon reef tank (GSP frag is only coral) with a Seachem hang off Back filter. The light is a radion XR15 G6 PRO. We first cycled the tank one month ago.

When did you buy them and did you QT them?

We bought the original pair from a LFS for our first fish a month ago. But one of the clowns never wanted to eat and was always stressed so we took him back and traded ot for the now "sick" fish about 2 weeks ago. The LFS doesn't quarantine but they do dose all fish with copper. We do not currently have a quarantine tank either

What is age of this tank?
The behavior still suggest brook but the video I hate to say is blurry. Assure both glass and camera lens are clear.

Tank is approaching early maturity but may have or experiencing some sikes, but dont believe associated with swim behavior but may affect dissolved oxygen

If it was brook, wouldn't both clowns be sick? I tested the water parameters right before I made my post. Can brook be transferred from inverts?

Inverts, low possibility. I cant confirm book based on images but some signs are erratic swimming, heavy breathing, loss of appetite, loss of color and lethargic behavior

I think this could be Brooklynella also. The two clowns didn't catch it at the same time because they have different histories, but I would be worried that your first clown may develop symptoms as well.

Have you seen any white stringy feces?
Are both fish still eating?

They both have had white stringy feces since we have had them and only one is eating and acting normal.

You might want to consider a Ruby Reef Rally Pro treatment. It isn't the best treatment (kind of weak) but the better treatment, formalin is toxic to people and difficult to source.

Ok we have snails, cleaner shrimp and a GSP coral. Is this safe to use with these?

Those are fine, but the GSP may close up temporarily.
