I’ve had a couple of clown gobies vanish on two separate occasions. Same conditions.

Both hang out in my birdsnest colony, actively swim around and eat brine every day. Then one day, poof, gone into thin air. No aggression from other tank mates and I have a lid over my tank.

Any idea where they’re going? I have some decent sized bristle worms in the substrate.

Thanks in advance.

If you have a overflow I would check there then the filter socks and the sump. I have had a yellow watchman goby somehow make his way from the display tank to the sump.

Do you have any large lps corals or anemone. I had that happen to me once, and if I hadn't seen I would have never believed it. I saw my meat corals eating one.
