I have a maroon clown fish and today I put in this anemone , I was at a new LFS and they said that this anemone would be ok with the clown ( the anemone was hosing another fish that I saw at the store ) is this behavior normal? Does the anemone look well ? Is my clown in any kind of danger ??

I can’t view your videos or photos. I can’t answer your first two questions, but to answer the last. Your clownfish will not get harmed by the anemone because of its mucus coat.

Sorry about that I was trying to post the video and it won’t work for some reason , here are some photos

It’s hard to see with blue light, but from what I can tell this behavior is completely normal. Your anemone is hosting your clownfish. What kind of anemone did you buy?

What I’ve noticed is the clown with really thrash threw the anemone and sometimes back away from it really quickly , then go back in

Sorry for the silly questions , I just really want to make sure there both happy and that they anemone won’t eat the clown fish

No the anemone won’t eat the clownfish. It’s normal for a anemone to be on the sand since they move constantly. These are great questions! No need to say sorry.

Thanks for all the info I really appreciate it ! I just got a little worried since I’ve heard that the Condy anemone would eat the clown

my only other concern is I do want to get a bit of torch coral , I’m waiting to see what the anemone does Bc I really don’t want it to kill my coral, I was thinking of maybe putting the cora on a magnetic rack to keep the anemone away at first to see what he does

This is completely normal. Sometimes my clown lays there like he's dead. Sometimes he slams in and thrashes in the anemone. All normal.
