Hello I was wondering if what my clownfish is doing with their mouth is normal I have had it for a week. This is my first saltwater aquarium and first fish so I’m just super nervous about messing something up. I also haven’t actively seen them eat yet either. Thanks for any advice and help!

I see a lot of comments about water quality - but this could also be a disease issue.

First, are there any invertebrates in the tank? If so and if they are doing fine, then it points to a fish disease.

For sure add an air stone and get an accurate ammonia test and let us know.
No invertebrates yet, just those two so far. I did a large water change last night and will check the water again when I get home!
