I would have guessed and sorry to hear. Diet likely was not an issueHe sadly just passed away. How were you able to tell it was brook?
He was eating pretty high-quality frozen food. It was a homemade lunch from my local fish store as well as a very meaty blend.I would have guessed and sorry to hear. Diet likely was not an issue
I would only start feeding this much once you get another fish. Doing half a block once a day is a good amount considering the amount of livestock you currently have

I may be wrong but I think brook is a contagious disease mostly found in clowns
Brook is rarely contagious especially if treated right away. If you want to assure this, you can add ruby rally pro which is safe also for inverts and coralI’m pretty sure it is I just hope he didn’t have it for the sake of my other clown fish
This is not a parameter issue nor is there a presence seen of velvet. From the amount of slime on the fish, brooklynella was the likely issue which causes heavy breathing and lethargic behavior as displayed in the picsI’ve had the fish for maybe two weeks. He was quarantined in the full two clown fish and a tiger goby with a cardinal I added today. My tank has no ammonia.

Your very fine Sandbed is what led others to believe this was Ich. It was clinging to the excess Mucus caused by Brook. Since you had a mated Pair there is a risk of Transmission, I would also recommend treating your Tank with Ruby Ralley Pro.I’m assuming it was sand there’s always a lot of sediment in the water because of my goby. After I took him out, there were no visible spots, so I’m assuming it was sanded
Scales do not look like its falling off with brook but rather the heavy Prescence of slime or mucus is an indicatorBrook has an effect that makes it look as if its scales/skin is falling off. It’s what you’re looks like. As Vet stated, Ruby Rally Pro works on Brook. Had a clown that ended up showing Brook while in copper power QT. I then started doing ruby baths at 3ml per gallon of water for 90 min everyday. Ended up clearing. Ruby is usually dosed at 1.5 ml gallon in the tank. For a bath you want to double it up.
Careful would not recommend using it with copper at the same time. It’s why I have a small 2.5 gall tank for baths this sort.

My local fish store is pretty confident it swimbladder based off the way he was swimming before he died my fish store also quarantine for a very long time. And all of their clown fish from the same order do not appear to be sick.Scales do not look like its falling off with brook but rather the heavy Prescence of slime or mucus is an indicator
I don’t see any parts that look like fallen scales to meBrook has an effect that makes it look as if its scales/skin is falling off. It’s what you’re looks like. I think the slime was just water because I kept it in a bucket for a little bit before taking the photos. I just had another look at my clown and took him out of my tank and she does not appear to have any slime. Of any sort on herThis is not a parameter issue nor is there a presence seen of velvet. From the amount of slime on the fish, brooklynella was the likely issue which causes heavy breathing and lethargic behavior as displayed in the pics
He also wasn’t too lethargic at more looks like he was struggling to stay up and swim correctly. He would randomly float in direction and struggling to float correctly, and just spinning in circlesThis is not a parameter issue nor is there a presence seen of velvet. That would be lethargicHe also wasn’t too lethargic at more looks like he was struggling to stay up and swim correctly. He would randomly float in direction and struggling to float correctly, and just spinning in circles
Oh, I thought that was just sort of laying around and not doing anything, my lfs thinks it was swim bladder, I just hope it doesn’t turn out to be brookThat would be lethargic
Your LFS is incorrect.Oh, I thought that was just sort of laying around and not doing anything, my lfs thinks it was swim bladder, I just hope it doesn’t turn out to be brook
