The big wound was small in the beginning
it happened after I put a BTA inside the tank
The BTA has some white spot on it too.
And then the fish’s wound got bigger and bigger. Cannot swim anymore and died.
I wonder what this is
The wound swell large.

Hard often to tell from a dead fish but seeing faint dots may have been ich or bacterial lesions. Stinging also a possibility but hard to determine without symptoms such as heavy breathing, weird swim pattern as examples

the fish came with some white dots but it recovered by itself and was healthy for over a month
the fish was breathing heavily when it couldnt swim anymore.

If you were feeding mysis and brine shrimp, May explain the white feces bit can also be coccidea affecting the thin body and appetite

Welcome to Reef2Reef.

It’s tough to diagnose an already dead fish. I tend to focus on remaining animals to try and ensure it isn’t a contagious issue.

So - any other fish in the tank? What species? Are they doing well?
