Clownfish eggs didn't hatch

My clownfish eggs did not hatch last night, even though it was the 10th night since they were laid.
According to basically everything I read their supposed to hatch in 8 to 10 days.
I have a DIY acrylic cover over the eggs to make sure the fry don't get eaten by the parents and other fish when they hatch.
I'm about to have to leave for work and I'm debating on whether to leave the cover on or not.
Is it possible they will hatch when the lights are on?

Edit: I decided to leave the cover on and added airline inside the acrylic box.

Not that I could see before I left for work.
Definitely could clearly see all their eyes though.
Is it possible for them to hatch in light? Or will they wait until the next lights out?

They won't hatch anymore. They are white/greyish which means they are dead. They likely didn't get enough flow or aeration and died of oxygen deprivation.

They ended up hatching last night. Well, some of them did.
I caught 110 and called it a night. I counted like 240 eggs so looks like most of them became fish food or didn't develop enough to hatch.
Parents have cleaned the glass already, hopefully for another round of eggs.
