Hi everyone, I have a question as to the acceptable amount you guys feed your clownfish. I have 2 clowns that I’ve had about 1.5 years now and haven’t really grown. I feed them SA pellets that are for the size they’re currently at and use a small syringe (the kind without a needle) to suck up my pellets and then put in my tank and my clowns go up to them and eat them as I slowly press to expel them (helps with preventing them floating and sinking all over the tank to prevent nutrient explosions. How much and how many times a week do you guys feed your clowns? My clowns aren’t thin but they just haven’t really gotten much bigger.

I feed mine every day LRS nano, as much as they are able to eat. They’ve more than doubled in size since I got them in March :)

Normally I feed my clowns at least once every day. Alternating Frozen brine, marine cuisine, mysis shrimp, and LRS. A couple times I week I also give an additional feeding of some flakes. I also feed the corals or broadcast feed the tank almost Everyday. Marine Snow or Reef roids, newly hatched baby brine. But Once or twice a month I may skip feeding at all for a day. Like making believe I am on vacation. LOL

Definitely feed sparingly. These guys don't need much
