Does anybody know why his fin looks damaged? Tankmate aggression or something more nefarious?

I have had him in the tank for about a month with a damsel. I just added a firefish goby this past week.

I have had another clown in a quarantine tank for about a month because he had fin issues and some white specks that people were telling me was brook (my other post). Any help is much appreciated

Someone is severely nipping this tail and likely another clown and you will need to separate them before this tail becomes highly infected. Place the aggressor in acclimation box or separate tank or use divider allowing tail to heal and restore
