I say that is Brook and NOT ich.

It appears to be several individual clear/white spots, as opposed to excessive white mucous.

I can, but my LFS told me it is likely fungal and they prescribed SulfaPlex. Now I don't know what to do.

Here's my plan. I'll set up a hypo-salinity quarantine tank, medicated with SulfaPlex (It couldn't hurt to use this, right?). I'll give the fish freshwater dips as opposed to using formalin or another brooklynella-specific treatment. Does this sound good?
