My clownfish keep aggressively going into my anemone and making it shrink. Is this normal or is the clownfish killing the anemone. The clownfish just started doing it today

I remember my clownfish also did this with my anemone. Eventually my anemone just got used to it, but how big is your anemone compared to your clowns? If your anemone keeps closing up or stays closed for long periods of time, I would isolate it in an anemone basket or something

My clowns are about 2.5 inches and my anemone is about 3.25 inches

Clowns can love anemones to death. Have had this happen to many splits from my tanks. Unfortunately anemones need to be 3x the size of aggressive clowns to be able to handle their abuse.
