Bought a pair of clown fish one male one female and they’ve just been pacing throughout the tank they have no threats and the tank conditions are good anyone know why they do this?

I have a few questions. How big is your tank? How much room do they have to swim? Do they have any places to hide? How long ago were they added?

when new to a tank, they often glass surf, a term used for going up and down or across glass following their reflection. It simmers down in time

How big is the tank? A pic or video will help, otherwise we all just guessing.
