There is white stringy stuff coming out of the bottom of one of my clownfish. He was just added to an unstocked, cycled tank along with another clown and. Chalk bass (and some inverts). He was purchased quarantined from Dr. Reef. Any input would be appreciated.

Based on body mass I dont see concern. Often when feeding mysis and/or Brine shrimp, this causes excess mucus in the stomach lining mimicking an internal issue. Adding pellets, flakes, and foods such as LRS fish frenzy and plankton will change color and consistency of feces

Thanks, he/she is also very active and eating well. So, assuming this alone isn’t concerning, there are no other signs I see. Looking at threads about stringy white stuff from fish in here made me worried though.
