Been noticing that my clownfish might have an internal parasite. They no longer swim together in the water column and the smaller one stays by the sand bed most of the time and acts very lethargic. The female swims around more, but I’ve noticed she has white stringy poop.

I’ve dosed ParaGuard for 3 days and when I didn’t notice an improvement, I started MetroPlex and Focus on frozen foods and have been trying that for the past 5 days.

Trouble is, I don’t have space for a hospital tank, and due to the size of the tank and the corals and rockscape, I can’t seem to catch them to do a MetroPlex Dip. They haven’t been eating so I don’t think they’re getting the medication into their systems.

Is there’s any other ideas that I can try inside the display tank I’m open to try it. Just want to make sure I don’t lose these guys as I’ve had them from day one in the tank.

Parameters:

// PH: 7.8
// Ammonia: 0
// Nitrite: 0
// Nitrate: 20
// Salinity: 1.024
// Phosphate: 1.6
// Calcium: 417
// Magnesium: 1383
// Alkalinity: 7.06 - 8

I’m currently dosing the following:

// All for One Reef (10ml every week)
// Beneficial Bacteria (5ml every week)
// Phosguard every 4 days
// Reefroids once a week
// AB+ every 4 days

A metroplex dip will not help internal parasites. I'm curious what makes you think the behavior you're noticing is related to internal parasites - is there bloating, abnormal excrement, etc. A video of the fish behavior is key - has anything been added recently - and how long have you had the fish.

Please post a pic or two of the feces on fish under bright white intensity - no blue and often this suspicion comes up to end up being excess mucus in the stomach lining especially if youre feeding foods such as mysis shrimp and /or brine shrimp often confused with internal issues

No new fish have been added. Only corals added so far. I can put a video on YouTube tomorrow when the lights are on
