Do you have issues with the coral stinging the fish? My clown seems to go through phases of being stung.
All clowns get stung, they develop a tolerance to it and eventually the coral/anemone quits stinging it. The problem is that some coral can handle hosting clowns and some can’t. The clowns can be rough on the corals since the have skeletons compared to anemones that don’t. My clowns are hosted by my elegance, before that it was my duncans. Just keep an eye on the coral.

@uhgster1 Thank you! Your tank is beautiful- a little jealous of that clown. I wouldn’t mind chilling in that Elegance either.

The clown in my picture has hosted that Frogspawn since I got the tank. It is the only one in the tank that does so. It initially did seem to damage the coral some (I noticed pieces of the coral’s tissue in the water column every once in a while, which actually landed on my Duncan and stung it) so I added the second Frogspawn on the left. I thought it was a brown one, but it is slowly turning the same green and purple as the original. The clown goes between the two now and I haven’t had an issue with damage since then.

I've never noticed any damage to the coral. The clownfish hide down in the branches at night after the frogspawn retracts.
