Wonder why BRS doesn't do the 200g boxes of salt. Dr Fosters and Smith seems to be the best deal on it usually. I think it runs about $47 shipped to your door. And figuring that it costs about $3-4 just to drive anywhere around, that's about the best I can find. Salt gets expensive when you can put a 50g bag into your system and it raises your salinity .002.

Hey Spencer, we can get salt considerably cheaper than that thru one of our club sponsors. I can't say on here who that is though. The local reef club police will report it because it's not Aquatic Marine, The Coral Reef, or Aquarium. Apparently we can talk about what you can buy at those places, but not what you can buy from local reefers who have stores, without being reported. Feel free to give me a call and I'll tell you how to get several things at astronomical savings.

Are the other locals sponsoring this site or what? It doesnt make sense that you can talk about one non sponsor and not another. Who is it saying you cant do it? Whats their reasoning.

Nope. They don't sponsor this site either. It's a local reefer that reported them for being a vendor and offering to give club members AT COST pricing after they've paid their annual club membership dues. Kinda like AM giving ETRC members 10% off, except it wasn't ETRC, and it wasn't AM so it wasn't Ok I guess.
