CO2 sctubber help

Have a CO2 scrubber, the Reef Octopus universal one installed to to external Reef Octopus 300 ext protein skimmer.. I am getting fluid in the reactor...Any ideas of installing correctly? I bought new lid that was supposed to give me an easy hook up..... Don't have any pictures at the moment...

I don't know your setup, but I just have mine hooked up to the air intake on the silencer

Did you ever make any modifications or go for a recirculating design with the special reef octopus lid?

Is it just condensation? That’s what happens to my reef octopus co2 scrubber that is hooked up to a regal 300-int (external pump). I had to dump the water once every few days. You can create a catch can to help with condensation.

There is not much you can do to stop the moisure and water to build up in the CO2 media chamber. Unless you remove the water every few days yourself.
I had to install an additional chamber just to keep water out of media.

There is a way but will require 2 solenoids and a controller like Apex etc.
The reason why water keeps increasing is due to constant wet air the reactor is sucking from or near the sump.
Only way to do that would be to have 2 inputs attached to the scrubber with solenoids and have 1 open that draws moist air around the tank for a day or 2 and then close that solenoid and open the 2nd that draws air away from the tank or from outside etc.
I havent tried that method but as you can see in the pic above, I simply added an additional reactor that was laying around as my way to collect and control water entering the actual media chambers.
