A video may help if you can take one and post it up. If the fish physically look healthy (no torn fins, no signs of disease, etc) and they are eating, it is likely they are just taking longer than normal to acclimate to the tank, which I am guessing is due to the tankmates. It really sounds like the female is not being allowed to swim around the tank. You do have a couple of fish that are more on the aggressive side. No way for me to say for sure, just speculating of course.
A little late for this, but this why I always suggest QT'ing all new fish, even those known as disease resistant. It gives the new guys a chance to get eating without any competition, and of course no aggression from any other tankmates. Then of course if you find any signs of disease during the QT period, you can easily treat.
