This hobby literally kills me at times for this very reason. Don't get me wrong I am super excited that you found the anemones and are happy(I probably would have only bought 1 though. I've started with 1 and now have 10 sadly (not these in the thread - just rose bta's)). However, the scientific name is Entacmaea quadricolor. There is no Colorado, California, or Utopia classification that I'm aware of. The re-seller or hobbyist slaps a sticker and ups the price one or two orders of magnitude and off we go. Designer corals.

I'm in a group and they are tracking all lineage of the Chicago sunburst so if someone tries to sell you a Chicago that's not on the list its probably not a real chicago cant remember what the difference is between it and a Colorado tho

The chart is for Ultimate Chicago Sunbursts, which have more orange in them than regular Chicago Sunbursts...btw. (and this chart is an older version... since my name isn't on there. lol)

I now made up a new strain of Anenome, that’s how it’s done! :) ;)

Since this thread is also serving as educational purposes here are my Colorado SB’s from Elite Reef.
Yes they can morph from the ones posted to this.
