Colorful Lawnmower Blenny

His color was pretty washed out when I got him. After a couple weeks in my algae farm, he is fat and happy and has taken on some wild purple and green coloration. Has anyone ever seen one with this much color? Been a great addition to the 32 gallon biocube.

I have never had one, but I know how a good proper diet will color up a fish!

Looks good! I know DD sells one that looks very similar with the red tip on the dorsal fin. I think they call it an African lawnmower blenny.

Hard to get the little bugger to sit still! I will try and get some more pics though.

That is pretty, it looks like it might be one of the harder to find Red Algae Blenny. As mentioned above they do come up on Diver's Den every now and then. If memory serves me correctly they come from the African Coast.

Great color! Usually I see them just white brownish.
