I bought a new RO/DI when Marine Depot closed.

I’ve recently started using it.

It’s time to change the filters so I ordered two sets, pre, carbon and DI resin.

Then I got an idea. Why not combine the two filters and use one pre filter, two carbons and two DI chambers? I have about 80 lbs of pressure on my home water supply so pressure won’t be a problem.

Has anyone actually done this?

I’m thinking about mounting them back to back and re-doing the plumbing as needed.

Sound like a good idea?
