Compatibility question with BTA and CUC

I recently purchased a bta for my small orange face clowns hoping they would host in that instead of my hob filter. That hasn't happened as of yet and they still prefer the filter over anemone. I wanted to know if it was normal for emerald crabs to want to be around the anemone. I've noticed they are always near it and in some cases on it. I also have a sea urchin that gets pretty close to the anemone too.
