hello all,
so I recently set up my first apex. The salinity reading keep dropping. My first thought was that an air bubble was trapped in the probe so i shook it an the reading went up. over the past 24 hours i have been occasionally shaking the probe and the reading goes back up. I'm not around this week to check if the readings keep dropping due to an air bubble. is this a common issue?

How do you think the air is getting in? Can you move the probes?

I see the same thing when my skimmer is producing micro bubbles. The bubbles build up in the probe causing the reading to gradually drop.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
