After watching @telegraham live stream from a few weeks ago, I'm trying to connect a frabill to my jebao gyre. The pump uses a 24v power supply. I purchased the reefboxx from puddle aquatics and an additional 12V, 10ah LiFePO4 battery. I'm trying to figure out how do I connect the frabill and the additional battery together to get 24V? I would then use the cigarette charger from the frabill to the reefboxx and then the power supply of the pump from reefboxx to the pump correct?

Don't do any of that unless you know the batteries can be connected in series. Just order, and use, this - https://a.co/9EebPg8

+1. Connecting batteries in series or parallel gets tricky because of internal resistance differences. This creates imbalances during charging and discharging, which ultimately wears one battery faster than the other.

Just order a voltage booster and use it on a single source.

Thank you so much for your help. I always appreciate your videos and trying to help reefers save money.

So I would just add a c-connector to the end of the booster wires and connect that to the frabill? And how do I connect the other wires in the booster to the reefboxx?

Kind words. Thank you!

In the US? Buy this, cut the wire in the middle somewhere, connect the cut wire end of the cigarette plug section to the "in" side of the boost converter, and connect the "out" side of the boost to the other cut wire end. The plug on the end of the wire will fit the ReefBoxx.

Appreciate the help! I'll let you know how it turns out.

Finally got everything connected. Works perfectly! Thank you @telegraham for all your help.
Can I connect the other LiFePO4 battery that I have to the binding post with a banana clip to get more juice or just leave it be?
