Hello everyone! I’m considering a Frag 85.3 system, they look very nice, but I have some Q’s:

- I’m wondering if any of the mat rollers (Clarik or Red Sea or similar) will drop in without any modification in the existing sock chambers of the sump?

- I’m thinking a Vectra M2 as the return pump, thoughts?

Thanks!

You'll most likely need to modify the sump to accommodate a fleece roller if it has built-in trays. With the Reef Mat RedSea includes a length of flexible tubing to bypass most overflow chambers. I'd get the dimensions on both and figure out where and if you could fit either in the sump.

The Klir DI-4 will work well with no modifications, I use one DI-7 on my frag 165.6 with out issues.

You should check out the Cade frag tanks way better quality. And I know the red sea 500 matt fits in there cause that Jake Adam's guy just did a video on them

Creating a strong bulwark: Did you consider floor support for your reef tank?
