Is this any better? That’s all that I can see of it
Is it facing the back or just that deflated? As long as it attached like that I'd let it be. Just make sure you're parameters are stabile. Not to much flow. Don't give up yet. It may surprise you.

Update: it’s still in the same place and I’m super paranoid about it because I can’t see it
From the little bit that I can see it looks to have been closed up for days now

It's still alive. Yay. Just keep your water in good shape and make sure your lighting is appropriate. I hope it makes it. Do you have any new test results?

thank God! Could I ask how you can tell?
I’ve not had the chance to test this week yet but I’m planning on testing tomorrow
I will just test everything to be safe AlK, Calc, Ammonia, Nitrate,Nitrite,Ph

I have a bit of red stuff growing on my sandbed, it doesn’t look like Cyano to me but I’m not 100% sure
this could be related to something maybe?

Test everything. He wouldn't be hanging upside down if dead. They almost turn to mush pretty quick. I'm interested to see test results.

@Duncan62 I have tested and these are the results:
Ammonia: 2.5ppm but my test is faulty I think as it never shows less than 2.5ppm and when I have had my water tested at lfs in the past they have said ammonia is 0
Nitrate: 5ppm
Calcium:490-500
Alkalinity:7.3
Temperature:29*C (My heater is running higher on one temp only for some reason so I am getting a new one)
Ph:8.2
Salinity: 1.022

so my salinity is low and my temperature is high but the problem is that I’m going away next week for 5 days so I’m reluctant to change anything before I leave
What should I do ?
Is it a risk to leave everything as it is considering the fact that I can’t see my BTA and my Xenia sort of melted but seems to be back to like now, I’ve attached pics of during the “melting” and after (everything else is fine)

Also how many watts do you recommend I get for a new heater my tank is W is 40cm, L is 100cm, h is 50cm F92A1519-1C6B-4671-9758-C2EB49840622.jpeg B9D16DC0-B988-455C-9A84-23698733CDBF.jpeg

I think he’s happy where he is as he has almost been there for a week now and seems to be open from what I can see
I mean it’s amazing if he’s happy!:) but I cant see him :(

Hopefully he's getting used to your tank. He might move toward more light as he feels better. Hopefully facing the front. Lol it's funny how often the prettiest things end up in the back or under a rock. I'm glad he's improving.

I know so frustrating as it’s also the most expensive! lol :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Update:
I have brought temp down to 25*C and I am starting to increase salinity slowly with evaporation

Blood shrimp(Sebastian) dissapeared completely (he didn’t jump as he’s nowhere on the floor near the tank)

Got an algae scraper with a blade, it is one of the best things I’ve ever bought! My glass is spotless!

Lost my nem, Found my nem lol, she’s doing great

Went to lfs yesterday and got 5 snails, a Duncan and a peacock wrasse

My Monti has started to pick up after moving it to an area with more light yesterday

Getting a clear plastic lid today

All Corals are doing great apart from my Xenia not sure why though?

still got the fuzzy brown stuff on rocks (really can’t figure out what this is, think I will post a thread see if anyone came help) and red slimy sand (Cyano I think or red hair algae)

Not sure what the algae is, but tbh there is no way of escaping all algae short of a good clean up crew. Consider an urchin, they are bulldozers.
I would love a tuxedo urchin, just don’t want it to go knocking over my coral frags :(
