This is the most underappreciated fish... So beautiful alone or in groups... Vivid blue and such a stand up guy...

Update time.
DSC09924.jpg

I had some issues with my new hydra... one being the light spill - neither me or my girlfriend enjoy being blinded. And two being algae growth.
I think it's way too hard to figure out what settings to run.
Well we slowed the light spill issue and here is some random pictures I shot of the build. We used an old warehouse lamp.

the new light looks good with the Hydra 26. I have a quick question how are you liking your Gyre pump? Which model is it? I am considering one for my 75p..

Hey, thanks.
It was the Jecod cp25 - so not the "real" one....I had the wifi control for it as well.
It worked fine. Was way more quiet with the wifi vs it's original controller and it's so nice to be able to change the flow many times a day.
Was hard to make a propper wave with the wifi unit. And btw It's the wifi unit T1 from aqualink.
Flow was good - especially with a bare bottom. Was nice to direct one side down and the other side across the top.
I only sold it because of the look. It took too much from the visual appeal from such a small tank - imo...

Hope it covers your question?

Ok thank you , it does cover my question. Right now I am leaning a little more for Tunze Nanostream or the Rossmont Mover pumps still trying to decide but thank you again Johnny.

Really? What makes you say that , I was thinking of getting two 6045's and I was going to use my hydro smart wave for a little with them. That was tell I came across the Rosemont Mover pumps that I am strongly considering with the Waver controller .. right now that's what I am leaning on is Rosemont.

I would buy the Jacob SW-4 or 8 if I was you.
I had the RW-4's for a long time and they are great! But the SW is er newer version.
It's smaller and more silent, but also more powerful.. I just orderd two of them.
